ernesto nam

i'm a junior at stanford doing computer science / ai track. i have a deep interest in tech. some areas that excite me are consumer applications of gen ai, productivity tools, some new type of social, among others. i also think about some more structural problems like why international shipping is always hard and how traffic lights can be a source of more efficient transportation systems. i took two gap years before stanford.

i enjoy reading, the neuroscience of learning, doing almost all kinds of sports, the mildly sunny california weather, and exploring. recently, i started finding joy in experimenting recommended eating spots and figured that so much of how i feel about new places that i visit is influenced by the food i eat (and of course the people too).

currrently based in palo alto. i'm paraguayan, korean, and brazilian by heart (brasileiro de coração). i'm very fond of all four.
